FLUTE SOLO

Having had the opportunity to perform, conduct, and coach many of Cueto’s flute works, I have observed several things. As a performer, I have found his pieces to be incredibly accessible, exciting, and rewarding to play and have noticed that audiences have the same reaction when hearing his music. As a teacher, I have successfully incorporated his works into my lessons, and my students enjoy including these pieces in their chamber concerts and studio recitals.
— Brielle Frost, Assistant Professor of Flute at Lamar University (from Flutist Quarterly, vol. 47 no. 2)
