The University of Arkansas Department of Music is proud to present Teaching Assistant Professor of Bassoon, Dr. Melanie Ferrabone, in a faculty recital featuring guest pianist Paola Budani, Albanian artist. The concert will showcase the expressive range and artistry of the bassoon in collaboration with piano, offering audiences a rich journey through the classical and contemporary repertoire. The program highlights masterpieces for bassoon and piano from celebrated composers Robert Schumann, Alexandre Tansman, and Camille Saint-Saëns, alongside contemporary composer Robert Mueller. The evening will conclude with a vibrant and rhythmic work by Peruvian composer Daniel Cueto, bringing a fresh Latin American perspective to the recital stage.
